The name and lineage of Hazrat Umar bin Al-Khattab (RA):

Ameer ul Momineen name and surname are Abu Hafs Umar bin Al-Khattab bin Nufail bin Abdul Uzzi bin Riyah bin Abdullah bin Qurt bin Razzah bin Adi bin Ka'b bin Luwa bin Ghalib Al-Qurashi Al-Adawee.

Umar (RA) was the Commander of the Faithful, the second rightly guided Caliph, the owner of miracles and the leader of conquests. Allah Almighty strengthened Islam through him. Umar (RA) removed hardships from the Muslims, Allah Almighty distinguished between right and wrong through him. Umar (RA) had precedence and priority in many matters. His opinion was in accordance with the Quran, and religion and faith were spread and disseminated through him. Even Satan was afraid of him (RA). Umar (RA) was religiously strict and protective. He fulfilled the needs of the people. He (RA) was a person of dignity and awe. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was the lamp of the people of Paradise and forgiving of the faults of the people. His tears would flow easily, his face was radiant and charming. He (may Allah be pleased with him) was a servant of the elderly and a helper of the poor, and he (may Allah be pleased with him) was a just ruler and a perfect Caliph Rashid. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) participated in all the battles. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was a strong fortress for the religion.

The Courage of Hazrat Umar ibn Al-Khattab

Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was the first person to pray openly near the House of Allah and migrated to Dahul. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was known for his truthful speech and the expression of the truth. He was not afraid of the blame of any critic in the matter of the religion of Allah, and he was a man who would uphold the limits of Allah. His lineage, may Allah be pleased with him, is connected with the Holy Prophet of Islam through Ka'b bin Luwa bin Ghalib. He was born thirteen years after the Year of the Elephant, and he converted to Islam five years before the migration.

O Allah! From among these two Umars, strengthen Islam through those whom You love, one is Umar and Ibn Hisham (Abu Jahl) and the other is Umar Ibn Al-Khattab. Thus, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) has proven to be more beloved to Allah.

The virtues of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him):

Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) has great virtues. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has placed the truth in the tongue and heart of  Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: If there were a prophet after me, it would have been Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). Also, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: I see the devils of mankind and jinn that they are afraid of Umar. They have run away.
Also, the Holy Prophet Umm Sulaym said, "There were hadith narrators among the people before you, and if there is a hadith narrator among my Ummah, it is Umar."

Hazrat Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "The best person in this Ummah after our Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)."

Priorities:

Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) had many advantages and advantages over others. He was the first to publicly migrate. He was the first to be given the title of Amir al-Mu'minin. He was the first to determine the Hijri date. He was the first to gather people for the month of Ramadan. He was the first to advise the collection of the Quran. He was the first to reward his bodyguard. He was the first to waive the Jizya (tax) on the poor and elderly Dhimmis. He was the first to establish standards for the Dhimmis, and he was the first to make military recruitment compulsory. He was the first to send judges and guides with the army. He was the first to issue decisions in written form. He was also the first person to establish a council of consultation for leaders and governors. He was the first person to patrol at night to find out about the people. He was the first person to keep a register.
He appointed a register in which the names and duties of the soldiers were recorded, and he (may Allah be pleased with him) was the one who built the guest houses.

The martyrdom of Hazrat Umar ibn Al-Khattab

Abul Luluwa, the slave of Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him), stabbed him (may Allah be pleased with him) in the side during the morning prayer. He died after living for three days and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) embraced Islam and was buried next to his companion Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him).
