| Hazrat Kharija bin Zaid R.A |
Acceptance of Islam and participation in wars:
Hazrat Kharija bin Zaid bin Abi Zuhair bin Malik bin Amra Al-Qais bin Malik Aghhar bin Tha'labah bin Ka'b bin Khazraj bin Harith bin Khazraj Ansari Khazraj. All these people are famous from Banu Aghharhi and participated in the Battle of Badar and the Pledge of Allegiance at Aqaba. This is the opinion of Ibn Ishaq and Ibn Shihab. They were martyred on the day of Uhud. He and Sa'd bin Rabi' were buried in the same grave. They were the sons of their uncle. Both of them go to Abu Zuhair and meet. All the martyrs of Uhud were buried in the same grave. Two or three people were buried in the same grave. This Kharija is one of the companions and famous. Some say that he was the one with whom Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) stayed when he migrated to Madina, and some say that he stayed with Khubaib bin Asaf. Kharija was also the father-in-law of Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA). His daughter Habiba was married to Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA). Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) said about Habiba when he was about to die that he considered the pregnancy of Kharija's daughter as a daughter. Thus, Umm Kulthum bint Abi Bakr (RA) was born. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had established brotherhood between Kharija and Hazrat Abu Bakr, while he established brotherhood between the Muhajirin and the Ansar. His son Zaid's Kharija is the one who spoke after his death.
Death:
Some people have stated that in the Battle of Uhud, Kharija was wounded more than ten times. Safwan bin Umayah bin Khalaf was wounded by Ghuzran. He recognized him and attacked him and fought with him and said, "Among those who killed my father Abu Ali, that is, Umayya, were these people. Umayya had a son named Ali, which is why he is called this. He was also killed with his father on the day of Badr. He was killed by Hazrat Ammar bin Yasir. All three of them have mentioned him, but Ibn Mandah did not state whether he was martyred in Uhud or Hazrat Abu Bakr R.A came down to him. He only stated that he was a participant in Badr and stated that his son spoke after his death."
