Hazrat Abu Barzah Aslami R.A

The life of Hazrat Abu Barzah Aslami R.A

Abu Barzah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him):

His name (as Muhammad bin Umar and some of Abu Barzah's children told us) is Abdullah bin Naslah, but Hisham bin Muhammad bin As-Sa'ib Kalbi and other scholars have called him Naslah bin Abdullah, and some have called him Naslah bin Ubaid bin Harith bin Jiyaal bin Rabi'ah bin Dakhil bin Anas bin Khuzaymah bin Malik bin Salman bin Aslam bin Aqsa.

Ibn Sa'd: Abu Barzah had embraced Islam early on and was part of the army of Islam on the day of the conquest of Mecca. Then he participated in the battles with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) until the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) passed away. After the death of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), he settled in Basra and built a house there. He has children in Basra to this day. Then he continued to fight in Khorasan until he died in Mard.

Ibn Saad: Muslim bin Ibrahim informed us, from him Mubarak bin Fadala narrated, and from him Sayyar bin Salamah narrated that I saw Abu Barzah, his head and beard were white.

Ibn Saad: Muslim bin Ibrahim informed us, from him Abu Umar Ziyad bin Abi Muslim narrated, from him Umayya bin Abdur Rahman narrated that my mother said that Abu Barzah and Abu Bakrah were brothers.
