The life of Hazrat Barida bin Husib (RA). 




Name and Lineage:


Buraidah bin Husib (R.A):

His surname is Abu Abdullah and his grandfather's name is Abdullah bin Harith bin Al-Araj bin Saad bin Zarah bin Adi bin Saham bin Mazin bin Harith bin Salaman bin Aslam bin Afsah.

When the Prophet (peace be upon him) was migrating from Mecca to Medina, he passed by him on the way. He embraced Islam and remained with his people and did not participate in the Battle of Badr.

Then he migrated to Medina and participated in all the battles with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) until the mercy of the Almighty, the Maliki, was received by his Lord and the region of Basra was conquered and Basra was settled. Then he moved to Basra and built a house in Basra. Then he went to Khorasan for the purpose of jihad during the Ottoman era and continued to participate in jihads, until he died in Mard in the era of Yazid in 13 AH. His children remained in Khorasan, some of his children had also settled in Baghdad and they died in Baghdad.

Ibn Saad: Abu al-Nadr Hashim bin Qasim informed us. Shuba narrated from him. Muhammad bin Abi Yaqub Nami narrated from him. He was narrated from him by those who heard Buraidah al-Aslami behind the Balkh River that he was saying: The real pleasure is in running horses.

 Ibn Sa'd: Affan bin Muslim informs us, Hammad bin Salama narrates from him, Asim Ahul narrates from him, Muriq narrates from him that Buraidah Aslami willed that two date palm branches be planted on his grave. He died in Lower Khorasan.
