Hazrat Khawla Binte Saa'lba Ka Maqam

The position of Khawla bint Tha'labah (may Allah be pleased with her):

A woman was searching for a way with a stick in her hand, she was suffering from the hardships of the times, she stopped Hazrat Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) who was standing among the people and took him aside. Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) approached her, placed his hand on her shoulder and leaned his ear towards her. Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) listened to her soft voice for a long time and did not turn away until he had fulfilled her need. After that, when Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) returned to the people who had been waiting for him for a long time, a man said: O Commander of the Faithful! You (may Allah be pleased with him) kept the men of Quraysh (may Allah be pleased with him) for the sake of this old woman? Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Woe to you! Do you even know who this old woman was? The man said: I do not know. Hazrat Umar (RA) said, "This is the woman whose complaint Allah Almighty heard above the seven heavens, this is Khawla bint Tha'labah (RA). By Allah, if she does not return from me by nightfall, I will not return until I have fulfilled her needs."
