The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) are the holy group who learned and spread the teachings of Islam in the company of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Allah Almighty praised them in the Holy Quran, saying:
"Allah has endeared faith in your hearts and made it beautiful for you, and has made disbelief, wickedness and rebellion hateful to you. These are the ones who are guided."
